Yumna Marwan
Yumna will soon be seen as the co-lead alongside Elisabeth Moss in Steven Knight’s limited series THE VEIL for FX. She is a much-lauded actress in the Arab World, known for her debut performance in Ghassan Salhab’s THE VALLEY co-starring Ali Suleiman and her English language credits include being the co-lead in Sky Atlantic’s LITTLE BIRDS, alongside Juno Temple.
Yumna’s credits include COSTA BRAVA, LEBANON, Mounia Akl’s debut family-drama which premiered at the Venice International Film Awards, and was selected as the Lebanese entry for Best International Film at the 94th Academy Awards. Yumna also stars in INSHALLAH A BOY which premiered at Cannes Film Festival this year. Yumna is also currently developing a series which she has written and hopes to direct.
