Hayley Squires
Hayley is best known for her BAFTA-nominated turn in the Palme d’Or winning film, I, DANIEL BLAKE. She has also starred in other independent features, such as Ben Wheatley’s HAPPY NEW YEAR, COLIN BURSTEAD, Peter Strickland’s IN FABRIC, and most recently THE ELECTRICAL LIFE OF LOUIS WAIN alongside Benedict Cumberbatch & Claire Foy.
Hayley’s recent television credits include David Hare’s mini-series COLLATERAL for the BBC, Philip K Dick’s ELECTRIC DREAMS for Channel 4 and Apple’s THE ESSEX SERPENT opposite Tom Hiddleston. Her acclaimed performance as Jolene in ADULT MATERIAL, a four part series for Channel 4, earned her a BAFTA nomination and an International Emmy win. On stage, Hayley recently starred in the lead role in DEATH OF ENGLAND: CLOSING TIME at the National Theatre. Hayley was most recently seen in Ari Aster’s BEAU IS AFRAID alongside Joaquin Phoenix, and Steven Knight’s GREAT EXPECTATIONS. Next up, Hayley will be seen starring in Steve McQueen’s hotly-anticipated BLITZ.
