David Dencik

David Dencik is one of Denmark and Sweden’s most versatile actors. He graduated from Teaterhögskolan in Stockholm in 2003 and has since played major roles in both Scandinavian and international films. He has received several awards for his work. In 2021, he starred in the 007 film No Time to Die. Internationally, he is known for his roles in Chernobyl (2019), McMafia (2018), Top of the Lake: China Girl (2017), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) and David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011). The latter won an Academy Award. David played Guldberg in Nikolaj Arcel’s acclaimed drama A Royal Affair; the film competed in competition at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards.
